GAVA (Bellanda, IT) – Judge for 1vs1 – Judge for 4VS4 open breaking
Giovanni Leonarduzzi. II mio percorso come danzatore ha inizio con la parola (B-Boy) prima del mio stesso nome, nella Break dance che mi vede attivo fin dal 1997. Ho subito iniziato un percorso alternativo all’interno di questo movimento, cercando di creare una mia identità fino al punto di dar forma a un nuovo linguaggio che negli ultimi anni è possibile catalogare con il termine “experimental”. Continuando la mia ricerca e approfondendola sempre maggiormente, ha fatto sì che potessi approdare nell’ambito del teatro danza, quasi forse a perdere il punto di partenza. In ogni caso tutto ciò che in vent’anni ho creato nasce dal footwork, il quale prevede l’utilizzo di mani e piedi in un lavoro sul pavimento. Questa tecnica ha dato il via a una ricerca ben più ampia del solo gesto. La caratteristica principale è quella di rendere più astratto possibile il movimento che ha come matrice la break dance. Dal 2012 sto portando avanti due progetti paralleli, il primo è la compagnia Bellanda, dove sono sia coreografo che interprete, il secondo progetto invece mi vede come performer di Breakdance.
WANA (Type Comics, IT) – Judge for 1vs1 – 4vs4 open breaking
Inizio a ballare nel 2005 A Mesagne in provincia di Brindisi con il mio compagno di 1000 avventure Omed ed insieme al nostro Maestro, Arturo La Palma, bboy dal 1982. Dopo entriamo a far parte dei SOGGETTI A RISCHIO CREW con cui partecipiamo a tutti gli eventi più importanti in Italia tra cui l’HHC ARENA. Dopo qualche hanno sempre insieme a Omed fondiamo la nostra attuale crew i TYPE COMICS gruppo che tutt’ ora rappresenta la nostra terra in giro per l’Italia ed in Europa. Purtroppo nel 2014 a causa di un’esplosione di un’ernia ho riportato una lesione midollare che non mi ha permesso più di camminare. Ma la voglia di stare a testa in giù era tanta e quindi dopo mesi di riabilitazione ho iniziato a fare qualche freeze e pensare come potevo adattare il mio breaking senza l’uso delle gambe. Ovviamente non è la stessa cosa ma il Floor è una droga e per me l’importante è starci non mi importa come. Il mio motto è NEVER GIVE UP ed è un consiglio che do a tutti quando racconto la mia storia. Ringrazio Chrystelle per questa occasione che mi ha dato. Giudicare bboys tra i più forti al mondo per me sarà un onore.

KUJO (ILL Abilities, USA) – Judge for 1vs1 – 4vs4 open breaking
Jacob “Kujo” Lyons is a b-boy first. He’s been a preeminent figure in the global b-boy/breakdance scene for 20 years, performing, competing, judging competitions, and teaching in 35 countries on 6 continents. His creative contributions to b-boy culture and movement vocabulary are indisputable, and continue to inspire and influence b-boys around the world to this day.
Kujo is one of the founding members of Soul Control Crew. Established in late 1995, Soul Control forever changed the way power moves were done in the b-boy world. The vast majority of fundamental air flare combinations were pioneered by members of Soul Control, including Pablo (RIP), Charles, Mega Man, Inferno, Babak, and Kujo as well.
Kujo is differently-abled: he was born 100% deaf in his right ear, and due to infections and numerous traumatic head injuries, has lost most of the hearing in his left ear as well. He represents the differently-abled dance community with ILL-Abilities Crew, an international crew comprised exclusively of high-caliber, differently-abled b-boys, including: Luca “Lazylegz” Patuelli, Tommy “Guns” Ly, Sergio “Checho” Carvajal, and Redouan “Redo” Ait Chitt.
Kujo has been featured in a number of high-profile media projects – he back-flipped into jeans for a Levi’s national commercial, was the principal b-boy in Run DMC’s music video, “It’s Like That,” and was featured in the films Battle of the Year: The Dream Team and Step Up 2: The Streets. Kujo is also an accomplished circus artist – he excels on aerial straps and Chinese poles, and has performed in numerous circus shows both nationally and internationally. He was also hired by Cirque du Soleil as a consultant for The Beatles: Love in 2004, and again 2011 for one of their upcoming productions.
Kujo is an experienced teacher of both breaking and the circus arts. In addition to teaching b-boy master classes and workshops around the world, he’s been teaching at Edge PAC in Hollywood for 10 years. Additionally, he teaches Chinese pole at Cirque School LA in Hollywood, and also privately coaches champion pole fitness competitors.
While completing his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Dance at Cal State Northridge, Kujo began to combine his various movement talents – breakdance, modern dance, ballet, acrobatics, and circus – into a dynamic, hybrid method of choreography. This new technique, along with Kujo’s global reputation for innovation, attracted some highly talented acrobatic dancers looking for something completely different, and in 2006, Lux Aeterna was born. Lux has since established itself as one of Los Angeles’ premiere dance theater companies, and continues to innovate with its new approach to urban dance & circus theater.

Bboying since 2003, Thomaz travel around world taking part in festiwals, events, theatre shows, judging and giving workshops of dance. His goal is to show creative ideas to develop art and dance in right way!
Thomaz additionally represent himself all over the world, in countries like:Usa, Australia, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ukraine, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Germany Slovakia, Switzerland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Rep., Russia, Croatia & Morocco.
MX (Double Struggles) – 2vs2 Mixtstyle Open
Simone Costantini in arte MX si avvicina alla cultura hip hop con il breaking nel 1994. Nel suo percorso artistico vince alcune delle migliori Bboy Battles sul panorama italiano con le storiche crew Wildstyle breakerz e Footwork Mafia. Nel 2004 si innamora anche dell’hip hop dance e approfondisce i suoi studi seguendo alcuni dei pionieri a New York,Los Angeles, San Francisco,Tokyo.Nel 2009 è fondatore di Double Struggle una delle crew più attive in Italia.MX vanta esperienze televisive quale ballerino del cast di Zelig (2006-2009),Cirque du Cirill RAI 3,Ballerino per RAI 1 (Telethon), MTV Italian best dance crew,Guest a Chiambretti Supermarket ecc.. Ballerino per Musicals quali Studio 54,Blues Brothers, Just for Love.Vincitore di alcuni dei più importanti contest coreografici e freestyle sul panorama nazionale,rappresenta l’Italia all’estero qualificandosi tra i top 8 in battles prestigiose come Step ya Game Up (New York 2009) e A.O.D. (Francia), Juste Debout London (2017), Jaia Battle (Switzerland). Nel 2017 é ballerino del tributo a Giorgio Moroder durante il Festival di Sanremo e guest con lo show “Italian Connection” a New York presso l’evento Step Ya Game Up.
CJM’S – Judge for 1vs1 Hip Hop Under 16 – 2vs2 Mixtstyle Open – Show Human Beat Boxe
Charlyngan Judicael Mathurine Spartan, in Arte CJM’S, nato a Colombes nel 1990, ha iniziato l’arte del beat- box all’età di 5 anni, guardando la serie televisiva americana “Police Academy” ed emulando l’attore Michael Window , un poliziotto comico che faceva innumerevoli rumori e imitazioni con la bocca!

Così racconta di se… “Mia madre non aveva soldi per comprarmi una console di video giochi, per cui mi divertivo con i miei pupazzetti facendo dei versetti per fingere le loro azioni!”. A 13 anni, durante un’importante partita di pallacanestro al Palais des Sports di Paris-Bercy incontra Blade (Frank Alimbaye Blade), un rapper, slameur e human beat-box, che gli propone di fare freestyle di beat-box con lui sul palcoscenico durante l’intervallo, un momento incredibile completamente improvvisato! Da quel giorno, Blade diventa per lui una vera “guida” nella sua formazione artistica. Senza soldi, neppure quelli necessari per comprare un computer, un MPC ed i relativi logiciel, per produrre dei suoni li crea lui stesso, diventando così anche un vocal beatmaker! A 15 anni incontra Kohmen, Deyvrone e i suoi fratelli con i quali crea i “POP’N’BROTHERS”, un gruppo che mischierà danza, canto, comicità, beat-boxe e beatmaking!

A solo 18 anni entra nella compagnia del “Theatre Du Voile Déchiré” di Eric Checco, famosissimo regista francese, grande difensore e promotore della cultura urbana nel mondo del Teatro e delle arti sceniche in generale. CJM’S balla in “Pas De Quartier”, uno spettacolo che racconta l’evoluzione della Francia attraverso l’hip hop e l’arte barocca, coreografato da Abibou Kébé in arte Playmo. Da lì si susseguono le collaborazioni con grandi artisti come i Twins, Salomon, Bboy Youssef (Next Level),
Joe Yamakasi, i World Prime (gruppo di Krumpers) ecc.
